Survey Technician:  Operate GPS equipment including but not limited to robotic transit and level to perform various surveys (property boundary, topographic, construction stakeout, etc.). Take accurate notes and transfer data to the office server. Must have a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to our client's office location, as well as any surveying work sites.    


Survey Crew Chief/Department Manager:  Preferably licensed PLS, but not required. Must meet all the qualifications for Survey Technician, as well as be able to complete deed research, boundary calculations/justifications, traverse closure calculations, etc. Must be able to use CAD to plot deeds and prepare basic plots for use in calculations, plans.

Assist design team, engineers, and other team members in preparation of reports, plans or other submittals 


Obtain project information from other disciplines and incorporate into projects

Responsibilities:  As the Municipal Engineer you will be responsible for representing customers/businesses within the Municipal area.   


Utilize and share your knowledge and education to successfully engineer and design projects within the following areas:  PADEP permitting, rules and regulations to support client needs and mentor junior level engineers  


Water treatment and distribution design  

Wastewater treatment and collection design  

Stormwater design and review  

Paving and road construction  

Knowledge of Municipal Planning and Building Codes  

Direct engineering activities, ensuring compliance with environmental, safety or other governmental regulations.   

Attend municipal meetings; Representation of client to Municipal Authorities  

An ability to manage multiple projects and clients  

Collaborate with other team members

Prepare project reviews and reports; summarize project outcomes and impacts

Responsibilities:  The candidate will have technical, engineering and project responsibilities including planning, design and oversight of projects focused within Land Development.  

Expectations include technical and feasibility studies, preparation of applications, calculations, reports and studies for presentation and compliance with local, county and state requirements.  

Project scope and budgets, serving as the technical point of contact with clients for specific projects, collaborating with other team members to be sure all projects are completed within budget and allotted time.

Responsibilities
The candidate will consult and collaborate with other project managers and clients to determine how to meet project goals; manage and perform engineering design tasks; perform engineering calculations and evaluations; prepare reports; perform feasibility studies; and develop engineering plans and specifications. 


Qualifications 

  • The ideal candidate will be a Professional Engineer (P.E.)
  • 10 or more years of solid      waste/landfill design experience
  • Minimum B.S. degree in Civil or      Environmental engineering or a related field.
  • Project Management experience within civil and/or environmental fields
  • Understanding of business principles      of engineering consulting projects
  • This position is best suited for an      individual that is excited to develop experience across a range of      managerial and technical skills.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or hold Green      Card status.

Zoning Officer and/or BCO

Candidate must have an ability to administer and enforce provisions of municipal construction codes and zoning ordinances in a professional manner. 


Minimum 2 years' experience within zoning and/or building code administration 


Review of zoning and building permit applications; issuance of zoning and building permits 


Maintain accurate records of inspections. 


Issue non-compliance notices and follow-up in regards to the notices. 


Daily inspections to ensure compliance 


Effective and accurate communication and documentation when sharing technical information with team members, municipalities, developers, architects and others 


An ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, specs and contract documentation.  


Knowledge of land development process is preferred. 


Comfortable working in the field as well as in an office environment 


Attend municipal meetings and Zoning Hearing Board meetings. 


Inspect for residential rental programs and review within various municipalities to ensure compliance.  


PA BCO license U.C.C. Certification Bachelor's degree Valid Pennsylvania Driver's license and insurability
