Responsibilities
Design and engineer solutions that bring our client’s visions to life! Prepare presentation materials and other documents, calculations, specifications, and design analysis for varying projects. Must be able to lead teams on multiple projects, provide adequate management and technical leadership and support to all team members.
Oversee the design activities of junior engineers and designers to ensure quality controls and project criteria are met and within budget as well as completed on time.
Ares of responsibility may include facility design for construction of complex processes including food and beverage facilities, HVAC systems, Plumbing or Fire Protection Systems. Your knowledge will include an understanding of whole plant systems including electric and pumps as well as the other mechanical design and engineering scope of project. We are seeking someone who knows how to design it, build it, and make it operational.

The candidate will have technical, engineering and project responsibilities including planning, design and oversight of projects focused within a specific area of civil engineering: roads, parking areas, culverts, stormwater management facilities, water and sewage systems to name a few. Technical and feasibility studies, preparation of applications, calculations, reports and studies for presentation and compliance with local, county and state requirements. Project scope and budgets, serving as the technical point of contact with clients for specific projects, collaborating with other team members to be sure all projects are completed within budget and allotted time. Identifying and communicating project risks; ensuring deliverables meet project technical objectives, prepare project reviews and reports, summarizing project outcomes and impacts.

Responsibilities
The candidate will consult and collaborate with other project managers and clients to determine how to meet project goals; manage and perform engineering design tasks; perform engineering calculations and evaluations; prepare reports; perform feasibility studies; and develop engineering plans and specifications.
This position provides an opportunity to work on projects focused on solid waste management, landfill cell and closure design, landfill expansions, solid waste facility design, and operational support. Solid waste disposal facility design and permitting projects; project proposals, guidance within technical approach, financial impacts and mentoring of other team members. Assignments could include: water, wastewater stormwater and solid waste design; startup and oversight of innovative and emerging treatment technologies; combined sewer system planning and design; stormwater design and maintenance; preparation of engineering reports; development of cost estimates; and a variety of other related assignments. This position will be client facing therefore candidate must have an ability to build relationships, communicate well and be willing to attend industry related seminars, conferences and other related meetings.
There is opportunity to cross collaborate and provide support within the site/civil design, stormwater management, natural resources restoration, water/wastewater evaluations and design, site remediation, and other environmental and civil subject areas.
