Our client has been very successful as a multi-disciplinary consulting engineering and design firm.  

Due to growth, our client has asked EPSG, Inc. to assist with its search for a Project Manager to join its successful team. Our search is for a candidate with a minimum of 10 years’ experience within a Project Manager role and within construction and/or engineering projects.

Projects to include solid waste disposal design and permitting projects.  Candidate must have the ability to assist with the business development aspect of projects as well as prepare project proposals, scope, schedule and budget, guide the technical approach and financials for each project.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Civil, Geotechnical or Environmental Engineering; P.E. License; must be able to coordinate the regulatory agency review process; be experienced in design, geotechnical slope stability evaluation, permitting, document preparation and CQA for waste disposal facilities.

Organization and leadership skills are very important for the success of the candidate in this role

Utilize expertise gained from a minimum of 10 years’ experience within the civil engineering industry and most specifically within water / wastewater discipline including planning and design. 

The ideal candidate would be able to obtain contracts through business development and lead teams of projects under general and minimal direction from the executive level. Candidate will regularly lead, supervise, and develop junior staff.  

Work directly with potential clients to determine needs and provide solutions and lead a team in the preparation of winning proposals and successful presentations.

Manage project teams to create land development plans for our client’s commercial, institutional, and energy projects.  Plans may include parking lots, shopping centers, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, utilities, solid waste disposal facility design and permitting projects, ensuring on-time completion within scope and budget.

Your responsibilities will include managing projects, review of work, QC, interface with client, project budgeting and mentoring and/or supervising junior engineers. Your level of responsibility will impact all phases of projects from concept and design, review, bidding, construction and opening of facilities. 

EPSG is searching for a candidate who can communicate well with all team members within an organization as well as contractors, architects, business owners, developers, and others. You will be instrumental in bringing in new business for our client and work with the client intensely from start to completion.

As a Landfill CQA Technician you'll work within the Waste Management practice.   You will be asked to observe, document and monitor construction sites and activities within the area of landfill construction.  You will be in the field at various project sites and must have an ability to travel as needed.  Project work must be able to be certified once completed therefore attention to detail and project timelines is required. 

Our client will consider entry level candidates.  Experience within this industry is a plus.  One must be interested in learning and/or training for this position or other related project work.  Requires a valid driver’s license.  Associates degree a plus.  Must have experience utilizing WORD and Excel.
